The Sylva church of Christ supports numerous local ministry efforts, as well as international missions.
Local ministries include:
- WCU Campus Ministry
- Community Table, serving nutritious meals in a warm, welcoming environment to our neighbors here in Jackson County
- United Christian Ministries, providing emergency assistance to local residents in times of crisis
- MedWest Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Waiting Room Basket containing free snacks and sundries for patients' families and other visitors
- Agape of NC, providing a wide range of family services, and specializing in serving the abused and neglected children of North Carolina through foster care and adoption
